I know my cat loves to investigate, mostly in the same way a cat will
sit down in the middle of the newspaper or book you are reading. When
he gets closer he likes the smell of the henna. And when I visit
people with cats and my hands or feet have henna stains that are new
enough to still smell of henna I get many wet noses and whiskers
checking out every inch of my hands or feet. If they ever tasted the
actual paste I think that their experience would be quite different!
