cajeput oils... name that species

Tea tree and cajeput are of the same genus, Melaleuca (or Melaluca).
They are apparently members of the Australian myrtle family. Tea tree
is Melaluca alternifolia. I've seen cajeput oil listed as Melaluca
cajuputi, Melaluca leucodendron/leucadendra, and Melaleuca
quinquenervia.
Niaouli is Melaluca viridifloria. I've also seen it listed as
Melaleuca quinquenervia, or Mélaleuca quinquinervia viridiflora.
Now if only companies can be relied on to give us the full
scientific name with our EO's!
