I wouldn't know most of what I know about henna if it weren't for this forum. :) New Skin is a liquid bandage compound -- you can buy it in brush-on or spray-on form. It was designed as flexible, waterproof protection for boo-boos that won't snag or soak loose like band-aids. It turns out to be really great on henna for several reasons: 1) it tacks the paste down like you wouldn't believe, 2) it seals in the moisture, so you really get your three-to-eight hours' worth, and 3) it contains eugenol (clove oil), which can help darken your stain. Drug stores and some grocers carry it in the first aid section next to the bandages... anywhere from three to five dollars.
