This is what used to clogg my finely strained paste. I have used a pin to remove that plastic particle. Now, I don't have any more clogging moments. I use a .7mm because it allows me to have both narrow and wide lines. On the wider tips like .7 or .9 mm, you can squeeze and pull the henna paste in a line which makes a finer line. Unfortunately you cannot get very wide lines with the .5mm tip. Have fun D
