soap and waterPosted by jessica on July 11, 2001 at 03:27:29: In reply to: Re: Clean-ups posted by Kenzi on July 10, 2001 at 22:11:46: : I used to think that dirty tips was the cause of my clogging but now: that I strain my paste through pantyhose I realize it was just lumps : in the paste. I use only .5mm tips and don't clean them very well Me too!!! I've been pantyhose sifting and no more clogs. Much better for my wrist not having to squeeze and push those particles out all the time. I keep my tips in a small tupperware container with lots of soap and water. i just shake them clean and that's where they live. It's been months and they don't rust or anything. Nice and fresh when I need another tip. I use sewing needles and pins to clean out any residue. The straight pins with colored balls on the ends are great to sit in the tips when you're not using it (during a break, etc.) they prevent paste from drying in the tip. Jessica
