If you happen to have an IKEA in your area, or the catalogue (I don't
think I have seen them on the website), look for the triangular table
lamps. The 'shades' are a one piece corrugated plastic that wraps
around the frame. I haven't attempted this yet, but I was going to
try to stain the plastic (as I mistakenly did in the refrigerator) or
you could use the corrugated plastic as a pattern in creating a
papershade to henna.
I mention these little lamps because they are wonderful to use and
extremely affordable at $2.95 (USD)
Now here's the unfortunate side of IKEA...if you don't have one in
your state, they won't ship to you (so I have been told). So maybe I
wasn't helpful after all....lol
