I hennaed the lamp in my room, which has a fabric (plastic backed) shade, so of course i could not iron it. But i left the henna on a for a few days, and kept using the lamp as normal. When i scraped it off (this took a LONG time-- it was stuck so hard) the stain was a light brown, and with regular use and heat, it has darkened to a nice deep walnut brown. It's not really red at all. ~Nick : Those henna lamps online are waaay expensive. I'm just trying to : expand my repertoire (and my ca$h flow... which is rather lacking : right now). : : I looked online for paper lanterns and found a bunch that do : wholesale and bulk for those cheesy circular, wire kinds. I have a : few in the house, they're nice lamps. I just need to experiment with : hennaing on fabric and paper. Might try making stuff out of paper : mache and hennaing that. : : Kenzi says no oil in the mix, are there any other helpful hints?
