My Aura Cacia is busted...Posted by Nick on July 24, 2001 at 14:24:31: In reply to: not the best .... posted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on July 24, 2001 at 14:09:46: I bought some cheapish Aura Cacia tea tree oil, and it hs not beenquite as good as i expected... I can't get my hands on Wyndmere. There is one brand though which seems to be excellent, but they have about every other oil you could ever imagine except any melaleaucas! ~Nick, feeling frustrated cuz he just spent $9 on busted tea tree. : AuraCacia was regared as "pretty good" by several professional : aromatherapists, but not "excellent". This is going to be a difficult : area for a long time, as the FDA does not grade essential oils .. and : the factors of climate, harvest conditions, processing are all over : the place. : : I used "Wild Thyme" from Wyndemere. It truely is time to study up all : the aromatherapy texts you can lay your hands on! See what ones : should never be put on pregnant women ... see what ones are bad for : high blood pressure ... see what ones are aphrodisiace ... : : Then : "Love Potion #9 Henna Mix"? Tranquility? Energy? : There is evidence that even sesquiterpines will cross the brain/blood : barrier and can elevate moods, soothe ... etc. Time to study up! : : Wyndemere has Cypress and Cypress Tips separatly, and they smell : different to me. They're both great henna energizers! : Absolutely!
