Their prices are ultra-reasonable. Just make sure that whatever you buy is marked 100% pure *essential oil*- a few of the pricier oils are for fragrance only (like Jasmine) and contain synthetics. They supply a number of aromatherapy products like carrier oils, butters et cetera. I use their Tea Tree and Bergamot in henna (personal mixes) and love the effect the Tea Tree has. A quick way to test for carrier oil is to apply a drop of the essential oil in question to a piece of plain paper (not slick.) It should, in time, disappear completely. Just for comparison, apply a drop of olive oil. It will remain and give the paper a slightly oily translucence. I did this with a couple of my Now oils and they did completely disappear. All that said, I'd take issue with somebody not wanting to provide for their customer! http://www.nowfoods.com/ : I checked with GNC today about essential oils and was told that the : only brand they carry is NOW (the manager wouldn't even TALK ABOUT : ordering anything else for me). Has anyone used this brand? The : labels say "100% pure" and there are no other ingredients listed. Of : course, the manager assured me that they were pure and "absolutely : the best"....so I bought some geranium and lavendar. After mixing : the geranium with my henna paste, the paste became very slippery and : almost oily, which is soemthing I've not experienced with other EOs. : I'm just not convinced they don't contain a carrier oil. Input???
