T3=Tea tree *grins* ...Posted by Jewel on July 29, 2001 at 08:00:57: In reply to: Re: Jamila+lemon juice+Cajeput & T3 posted by Darlahood on July 28, 2001 at 22:16:46: Errr ... that's what me and Boy Wonder calls it *grins*. The firsttime I use that same Jamila henna was about a year back and I mixed it with plain water and I got deep dark red stains on my palm (I might have put in some catechu too). Last Thursday I did my left foot with the same paste and the colour only darkens after 48 hours, again to a medium brown *sigh*. I still have some of that paste left in a cone. It has been 4 days since I mixed it. I might try it again tonight to see if it will stain better, as reported by Sophie. Oh BTW, the pattern on my palm has faded (I didn't take care of it, actually) and it doesn't leave that annoying orange stain (that goes on and on and on). Just fading to a weak orange and disappears ... HURRAH !!! :) ... Why don't you try mixing again and leave the paste lying around longer before applying? Might work ;) ... Love & peace, ~Jewel~ - who bought some ravensara and dying to try it ;)
