O/T Digital focal lengthsPosted by Rupal on August 4, 2001 at 04:52:57: In reply to: Re: Have a look....! posted by Noli on August 3, 2001 at 21:02:45: Hey Noli - I must echo that your site is wonderful; I've got a highspeed connection here so it loaded up pretty well. I've only worked with flash a very little, but it would be supercool to have a completely flash-integrated site like you have; it looks very nice and it is very interactive! Re: Digital cameras - are they better because you can focus henna designs close-up? Do digital cameras have no minimum focal distance? The one reason I'm really wary of digital cameras nowadays is that you can only store a certain number of pictures and that you can't ever improve the resolutions. Something to look for in a camera, for the henna artist, is a lens which can focus really close images; a friend of mine took awesome pictures of my henna with an ordinary point and shoot. He is a photographer, though, and knows a lot more about the best cameras to buy for close-up work, though. I've also had a great time playing with my friend's SLR lately - it really allows you to take whatever kind of picture you want with whatever types of focusing. I really enjoy "real" cameras. ~Rupal
