Mind, it is pretty good for the ammount of time i left it on (which was the duration of 'O Brother Where Art Thou'). I think this could be due to the heat-- it was mid 80's all day yesterday and frighteningly humid. Thank goddess it cleared up today and we've got some nice cloud cover. I wonder if paste with more or less terps added has a different lifespan? I.e. less terps = longer life, and more terps = shorter life... Or maybe the other way around. ~Nick : On August 1st I mixed up three batches of paste using three different : powders: : Castle Art : Red Henna : Jamilla : I applied them, side by side, on August 2nd (24 hours after mixing) : on my leg...(lower calf - above the ankle - not a great spot for : staining on me) so far there is no difference in the color between : the three pastes...not real dark, kind of light brownish orange color. : I applied the CA henna mix on the back of my hand the same : evening...it is brown. : I will be doing a show tomorrow and using the CA henna. I don't : expect to be very busy at this show so I will probably have to time : to henna my palm and see how that does. : Oh, just another note....the CA henna mixed well and was kind : of "shiny" looking, had some nice and stringiness to it...the Jamilla : seemed kind of "dry" not shiny at all, very dull and little : stringiness...the "red" henna was slightly dull and had a little more : stringiness than the Jamilla but less than the CA. : Just my observations for what there worth.
