I got started in henna by buying a kit at Barnes and Noble - now I go out and do festivals and have a blast! There are lots of ways to break down most patterns into smaller portions - try drawing S curves, dots, straight lines, and then start putting them all together. It's also helpful to sometimes use a gel pen first...layout your basic design with the pen first and then go over it with the henna. I recommend gel pens because the lines remove from skin very easily. Yvonne, who still sweats over lots of the designs, but never lets "them" see it!
