It isreally quite easy and once you learn how you can tweak your recipe depending on the situation in which you will be hennaing. All that leads up to the subject of line width. If you make your paste a little thicker you can get thinner lines, but it will be a little harder on your hand since you have to squeeze harder to get the paste out. Another method for getting thinner lines is to pull them out faster. As you move faster your line stretches out and thins out more. This is difficult if you are a beginner and not sure of your lines, but it is also difficult even if you are experienced but just don't know where you are going with your design. This method requires you to be sure-handed and quick-thinking. It can also free you from overthinking your designs and working with what you lay down. A lot of getting different line widths has to do with a balance between pressure on the bottle/cone and the speed with which you are moving the bottle/cone. So, henna a lot and you will gain the experience needed to get the lines you want. Good luck!
