I made a "scroll" with white cotton cloth and two dowels that I hang
from my tent with bells on it. It moves in the breeze, which catches
the eye. In the center is a hand-of fatima shaped hand in black
fabric paint, with bold, basic Indian designs in red paint on the
hand. On the top in black and gold I have the word Henna
in English and arabic, and at the bottom, I have Mehndi in english
and Hindi. The non-english words are both taken from CCJ's book. I
also have a book of pictures with the words Henna and Mehndi and
designs drawn on each side that I stand up so people can see it.
