I live inOklahoma where tattooing is illegal. Since, I have been learning this art, when people see my designs, they are ready, willing and ready to pay. I try to explain that I am learning this, about the art, henna, and so forth. They just do not care. They want a design. You would not believe how insistent some people are. So like CCJ says, I only agree if there is no money involved. When I first started this endeavor I was so enamored!!! Still am, even more so. I was very naive to think others would feel the same way. So moral of my story, I know the difference between a skilled henna artist and one who is just learning, even if they don't. I want to be as true to the art as I can. I will know when accepting money is right for me. When they walk away, I feel good about what I have done. I am proud of my work don't get me wrong, but it is a mere inkling compared to what a true artist could do. I know I have tried my best in all areas and gained more experience. Be true to yourself and the art. Good luck. My two cents. Lisa K
