: 1) what henna did you use? Either Kenzi's or CA...whatever I have
in the freezer. Last batch I mixed, I combined both CA and Kenzi's
and got a really nice stain.

: 2) what EOs did you use?
Last batch was Cajeput. Although I still think I prefer tea tree,
and I am trying to read up on the differences in use. I still would
fall back to using eucalyptus in the paste if I was out of either Tea
Tree of Cajeput (not gonna happen anytime soon....I got 8oz of Caj.
for $7.80....woo hoo)

: 3) how long did you let the paste sit (before adding EOs)? I
don't. I add the oils to the powder before I add anything else. I
try to work it into the powder w/ a spoon.

: 4) how long (after adding EOs) before you start application? Have
to wait for the paste to 'kick'. Anywhere from 4-24 hours. Just
depends on where it's at to stay warm. Cracking the oven door, and
turning the oven onto low...then hovering the bowl of paste over the
top....nice quickie way to keep the heat maintained.

: 5) how long did you leave paste on skin? About 5 hours this last
time.

: 6) how long did it take to darken (deep dark red/brown, almost
black)
:after you scrape henna off? Palm of my hand, w/in 6 hours it was
dark then continued to darken. But that first 6 hour check was as
dark as a 'normal' batch's 24 hour dark.

: 7) how well does the top of your hand stain normally (un-terped
: paste)? Not too well, and it's too annoying w/ the babying that I
need to do to get even a 1/2way decent stain on it.

: 8) what elixir did you use with the henna? the Hot Mix that I
always use

: 9) how long does your terped paste last (before it starts to lose
: it's staining power)? Not sure. I say about 3 days if I leave it
out...but I put it in the fridge all the time when I am not using it.
So I get more time out of it.

: 10) do you refridgerate your paste? Whenever I am not using it, I
store it in the fridge. I also make a batch big enough to freeze
half, that way I always have paste ready to go.

Your hand was beautiful! I love the Indian style...full glove look.
It's my favorite.
Blessings,
Justine Willowhawk
