I would expect the lighter skin to produce the lighter stain. But I think with some creative designing meant to incorporate the change in tones, you could have good results. But what I don't know if whether or not there is and particular extra sensitivity of the skin that has lost the pigmentation. I have a cousin with vitiligo and I know the special make up that is prescribe for her is very thick and very opaque so that she can get evenness of skin tone when applying it. Her face and neck is were she has been most affected. The specially prescribed face make up is necessary because nothing over the counter is thick or opaque enough to provide coverage. So with henna stains I am sure the variation in tone beneath would variate the stain as well. Of course this is all just a guess. Maureen
