I had the weirdest reaction today. I went to buy lunch at a local
place. The counter girl almost threw my change at me, not wanting to
touch my outstretched, hennaed hand. At first, I took it as an
affront to my being American Indian, but I know several tribal people
I work with who go to this place (it was because of them that I tried
it). So the only thing I can think of is the henna. Oh well, I
won't be going there anymore, but life's too short to be bitter about
everyone who looks cross-eyed at you. (I was asked by a lady, why I
wanted to draw all over myself-lol).
