I was having a tough time in that lecture. Not only was I so tired
that I was getting giggly-stupid, but the fellow right in front of me
was so boggled at the information that it kept setting me off. I'd
start lecturing, with the best composure I could muster about trowser
furniture, and he'd get this darling dumbstruck look as if I'd just
dumped icecubes down his pants, with his girlfriend nudge-nudgeing him
in the side, grinning, and I couldn't keep on track!
