I have a client for Friday who has: eczema but wants designs done on areas that aren't breaking out right : now. I'm thinking powder, lemon juice and euc oil -- a least-reactive : blend (no terps), but is there more I need to know? Thanks... It's difficult to answer that one. The Prophet Mohammed felt henna was EXCELLENT for excema. My husband has excema, but won't let me try it out on him. On people with excema, I've used just henna and lemon juice followed by steam, and that seems harmless on non-broken skin. On open lesions .... I honestly can't recommend henna, but I don't know that it would be harmful. Any henna on open skin will stain the dermis and leave a freckle. The terps I use are no more harmful than euc, in fact many have the same terpines, though in different quantities ppm. If I were to use a terped mix on excema skin ... I'd use Tea Tree!
