I get to the cursed event and there are like THREE or FOUR other henna artists that have come out of the woodwork like roaches! For small events this it's a really big problem. And for me as an artist in this area, for local events, I feel like I have a right to know who the other artists are around here. You never hear from them any other time, you never see them any other time. Type in henna in Tampa onto a search engine and you get my name, so who the hell are these other people and why the hell are they always rude as shit when you try to talk to them? Sorry, I'm ranting, but these lovey-dovey neo-pagan festivals really get my goat because the only people the vendors are vending for are the other vendors. They are hardly ever well advertised, and chances are there are going to be at least a couple of other people there doing what you're doing! When you're contacting these people for the gathering, try to find out as much as you can if there will be another henna artist.
