have, any scientific study proving the safety of 100% pure henna? I
think, since this is the FDA's concern, that the issue of the safety
of henna should be addressed. Can it be compared to any other herb
that is used on the skin and which is easily imported without
restriction? Are there studies about the safety of henna?

Also, what can the rest of us do with this rant? Who can we send it
to?

p.s. No matter what happens I will bring the stuff in sewn into my
overcoat, but I would hate to have to resort to such measures!
