propagation of henna plants?

Gidday, from Australia, great site! we would like to know as much as
possible about the cultivation and propagation of henna. Does anybody
have any information on the plantation method of growing as we intend
to set up commercially, we already have plants (it is a native here
too!) but all tips would be appreciated. my wife is from Kyrgyzstan
so for her henna is a part of life and tradition. Also any
information on the companion plants (for changing color) would be
most welcome as we don't believe in modern chemical additives
