Alternative to Mehlabyia oil?Posted by Graeme on August 27, 2001 at 09:22:28: After reading on CCJ'S site that Mehlabyia oil was an " unknow" interms of safety I was advised to try Eucalyptus oil in conjunction with Hecto transfers. Now I assume the Euc. oil doesn't go straight on the skin, so I have some carrier oil (by Tisserand) which is a almond,w wheatgerm, jojaba mix. I wondered if, as this was an oil, it would work without the Euc.oil added to it. It didn't! So having no suitable bottle to blend it with the EO, I used the old Mehlabyia oil again, and got the transfer print on my arm. Whilst doing the design I spent about an hour adding and embelishing with my own squiggles. The next day the stain is very weak on parts of the skin where the carrier oil was first applied, so......my question is...Has the carrier oil affected the staining power and if so how do I apply the Eucalyptus oil safely without the carrier oil? Took a while but got there in the end. P.s. does anyone have a stndard disclaimer type of form that they use or get customers to sign, and what is the youngest age you would paste up without parental consent?
