Hi Catherine,I am totally clueless about chromatography paper or anything of the
sort. Don't have a clue on how to help you out there. I do,
however, have two henna powders that I would love to see tested. One
is something labeled from the Sudan with Arabic writing on the
package and a red crown on it. I have had it around for some time
and have not felt comfortable enough with it to do anything with it.
Don't know if anyone will recognize it. If anyone recognizes this< i
would like to know what you know about it. But I would be glad to
be of any help you might need within my resources and expertise.
There has to be a way to weed out the bad stuff without sacrificing
life and limb to do so.
Keep us abreast of this issue and what is going on with coming up
with a way to test this out. Hmmm....wasn't there a post also from a
friend of Jeremy's looking for henna powder known to have PPD? How
did that turn out. I don't have anything around known to have PPD in
it. So I can't help there either. But, I would be glad to
contribute to the control group of powders without PPD.
