temperature- other people's results with temp. variations?Posted by Lauren on September 4, 2001 at 18:27:59: In reply to: Re: (expletive deleted) (unprintable) Terped henna still not working for me posted by Sarah on September 4, 2001 at 17:19:07: Hmmm... It was around 70 degrees the whole weekend, especially whenthe paste was on. Would that be the difference? See, the reason I keep posting is because I know I'm missing something, and every time, I get good advice. What can I do for this weekend when it's not likely to be very hot, either? Lauren : Hi, : : I've only been doing henna for a couple of weeks but I've been using terped solutions (tea tree & rosemary) and been getting different results. When the weather was cold I got the results you've been describing, when the weather was hot (30 Celcius) it got darker. : : Right now the weather is cool. I just did both my legs, my right leg is a very faint tangerine, my left looks like it was done with bright orange felt tip pen (a good indication that it will turn darker in the next 24 hours). The difference? I dried the left leg in front of an electric heater (hair dryer would be more convenient, but I can't find mine). : : So, maybe it will help to experiment with different drying conditions? : Good luck, anyway. :) : : Cheers, : : Sarah
