Were the henna artist and the miniature painter occasionally the sameperson? There's a group of miniature paintings from Shiraz in 1530
that has exquisite henna .. and just as a guess I think the miniature
painter and the henna artist might have been the same person, and a
woman at court.
What documentation is there on who the henna artists were and who the
miniaturists were? I'd LOVE to do my phd dissertation on such!!!
