preventing orange hairlinesPosted by Zimra on September 7, 2001 at 15:58:11: In reply to: anyone used jamilla henna to dye their hair? posted by Anne on September 6, 2001 at 15:12:11: : Any ideas or tips?I hennaed my hair a lot this summer, and had some experience with this. The time that I did get an orange hairline was when my henna was a bit too thin (I do mix it rather thin for the hair, but if it's too thin it will run onto your forehead!) A way to help stop this from happening (other than making a thicker mix!) is to insert rolled- up pieces of paper toweling under the plastic, along the hairline (and just behind/above the ears... this is a great place for drips to go!) They catch the drips before they get to your face. Hope this makes sense! Zimra, who fortunately had a tan when she had the orange forehead... it almost blended right in!
