Need your advice for after care

I have a client next weekend who wants to be hennaed before his trip
to Hawaii. I am CERTAIN that lots of water (the ocean) will be a part
of his trip, and I'm wondering if there are any suggestions I might
pass along to him regarding protecting his design from water. I would
like for him to get the most out of his design before it washes clean
away.

Does vaseline really work ?? anything else?

I'd appreciate any suggestions. I know, good after care is the best
way to make the design last, but since he is soooo excited about
being mehndied for his vacation I'd like to help him to help the
design to last.
