right now and what they really and truly needed was for me
to "remember this spirit of giving and come back around Thanksgiving.
We're so short then and I will probably have to blow up the Sears
tower just to get enough people in," (all in jest, i assure you).

So point being, Rupal's right -- the victim count is tragically low
and the blood they have now is more than enough. Return in a few
weeks, or a few months, and help then is the advice they're giving
everyone who showed up yesterday. A few (like me) stuck it out --
until 5 hours of waiting and having the exe dir tell me go home made
up my mind to return and do my duty another day.
