firefighter) didn't survive the WTC collapse...

We held a memorial service on campus today which was very moving --
the message was to educate people about intolerance and to listen to
people who have different ideologies/religious views/political views
and try to learn from them. It was so refreshing to hear the
president of a University preach that the practical, personal
solution to hatred is to teach tolerance, person by person...

I feel henna helps break down barriers between people...perhaps I
will take a tube of henna to the park and give away free designs as a
gift in honor of the victims...
