If it's been a really wet season, the lemons will have more water and less acid, and vice versa with a dry season, but lemon juice from concentrate is always the same. And you don't have to strain it, either. I don't use henna from local stores -- just haven't found it fresh enough. I use Castle Art or Maison Kenzi. Kree swears by Body Arts of Ojai -- and I know she gets reliable dark stains.
