Citric acid comes in a powder form (looks like granulated sugar) and
you can find it at the home brewery store and also at many Indian
markets in the spice section. I even found some at my local health
food store. I don’t really measure amounts so like Nick I like to
taste it to make sure that is tart like a lemon. If the liquid is
way too sour like those super sour candies then the henna dye never
seems to release.
