Do what you can. I'm also sick. I have fibromyalgia, chronic daily headaches, migraines, and carple tunnel in both wrists. I've been in non stop pain for just over 14 years now straight. I actually remember the first day I woke up with a headache as a teenager. For me personally I've tried every therapy known to man. Every medication known to man and seen more specialists than I can even count. It's not easy to live your life in constant pain but there are ways to do it. Right now I'm on a narcotics pain patch as well as a few other meds to keep the pain at a dull roar. I live for the moments when I don't have pain. My hands shake, muscles twitch, and cramps everywhere all over my body. Here's what I do to make things easier. First I always buy fat pens and pencils. They are easier to hold than normal ones. If I can't find them I make them using ace bandage material that sticks to itself. I have wrapped this stuff on all my tools to give me a better grip and to keep my hands from cramping up. I mean everything from my pencils, to my pyography pen, to my x-acto knives, even my glass cutter. For henna when I'm having a very bad day I find a pattern I want to do (or make a pattern) I create it on paper first then make a transfer. Transfer it to my body and slowly henna myself. That way it's still my own art. It's jsut easier sometimes to create on a flat surface than it is on a hand or foot. Then I just take my time, relax, and enjoy the henna process. Let the world go and for a few hours forget about my pain. I hope maybe this trick will work for you as well. Good luck and big hugs Dee : Gosh, don't harm yourself to be beautiful! That went out with the : Victorians. I think it's fine to use stencils, if they will work for : you. I've never had good luck with them. I look down on people : charging the same rates as I do for my original art as for slapping : down the same premade design on everyone, but whatever you do on your : own is fine. I think it's brave to keep looking for creative ways to : get around obstacles. I hope your med outlook improves! Best of : luck. : Lauren :
