It takes a lot to stand up for your moral and ethical beliefs

First off, you're not alone in what you think. It does take a lot to
stand up for what you believe in - which goes all ways, not just
ours - but I think once people start to sit down and *think* about
the situation, they may have a change of heart. It's all too easy to
opt for war, and in the last century that may have been a viable
option, but today's world is far too complex and dangerous; and a
stumble in the wrong direction can be harmful to everyone.

It's also far too easy to fall into pessimism - it take courage (or
some of the inexpensive meds I'm on) - to be optomistic and peaceful
in the path of a need for vengence, posturing and narcicism (sp?).

Even so, as hard as it may be, I think we have to respect the fact
that America gives everyone (in theory) the right to express
himself.

to overthrow the very government that allows them to exist and
