I try to do my fingertips early on in the hennaeing, so if I see any bare spots coming up, I can dab in some more henna. If any falls off ... I'll flick off a bit and re-henna the area. I mostly do frillybits on the fingertips (just because they "shoot" better against a dark background)....but I adore the way hennaed nails look against black fingertips! For artistic challenge, I love doing 360' spirals all the way up each finger, like the top pic at the link below. I've only done those on myself though .... too tedious to ask a client to sit through!
