And that has nothing to do with whether anyone in the world thinks it is appropriate or not. It is my process. When I do this, there are other things that I ordinarily find fun that I find no joy in...because I need something healing and therapeutic. Henna plays real different roles in people's lives. And I think that that has to be alright. If it is something that brings you absolute joy...it may not be what you will do when you are despondent. Singing and dancing bring me joy (though I can not do either well). When I am feeling up, I have my music on and sing and dance around the house as I am cleaning up and getting dressed in the morning. I put the music on for my son's birthday party Sept 21, it was the first time I had turned the music on since the tragedies...and then it was jazz because that is what the mood called for. I will be glad for the day that I get up singing and dancing again. I will be glad when you all can find the joy in your henna again. It is there in the henna waiting for you. Maureen
