Is the henna paste TOTALLY protected from exposure to air? ANY exposure to air is going to foul the paste. Commercial paste producers often inert their paste mixing process to elimiate this. 3 mil plastic still allows air to touch the henna. Any air pockets in the paste eventualy make the paste useless. Home freezers don't go supercool, and they have defrost cycles that partly unfreeze things. So ... though some people have had excellent results with frozen pastes, others have not.
