Thanks for the best wishes .... Yes I hope everything else goes well
too. I'll take pics of the reception and guests so that everyone can
take a peek into a typical Malay wedding. Having about 1000 guests
for a wedding reception is the norm here (my immediate family totals
to nearly 300 people!). Malay people are a very closely knitted
community. We look forward to occasions like weddings and Eid,
anything that brings the whole lot together for good food, good
company and lots of laughter. Anyway Singapore is a tiny place so
nobody is ever too far away not to be invited and happy news like
weddings spread like wildfire and everyone expects to be invited. The
reception will be from noon to about 4 pm so the guests will come and
go (nope, they don't all arrive at once, thank God!).

I'll post more pics of the henna party too, that should be fun! Wish
you guys were here!
