WOW!Posted by Jewel on October 22, 2001 at 09:08:31: In reply to: One that had to be rushed posted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on October 22, 2001 at 03:53:45: : A henna job that had to be rushed: story linked below. As usual, it's breathtaking, Catherine. She's very lucky to have your awesome work on her. Thanks for sharing the story too. Sometimes the relatives of the bride give you the jitters more than the bride herself. Once an aunt (or cousin or something) of a bride I was working on would smirk at me whenever she checks on what I was doing. I could hear her speaking loudly to the mother of the bride that the bride was wasting her money on "such a thing" when she could do a better job for free. Just a question though. How long did you take to finish all that? You did 2 sides of both hands right? How long (hours) do you think is acceptable to finish an intricate pattern like that? I think I may have been too slow and I wonder if there's anything I can do to speed up without compromising the intricacy of my work. Any tips? Thanks again for sharing!! *hugs* ~Jewel~
