Hej,

There was a long article in the NTY Magazine yesterday about the
hunger strikers in Turkey - why they're doing it, why it's not
successful but is very popular. At one point, the hunger strikers -
the women; I don't remember the men being mentioned during this part,
though there were several male strikers - had a Night of Henna, and
the indication was that they were preparing themselves to be brides
of death. When I unpack I'll find the magazine and post the relevant
paragraphs.
