We are just swaping stories. Thanks for getting the stomach thing. I'm not sure I wanted everybody to know about that I know most people don't understand that or really don't care for it. My whole family used to take the two weeks of Thanksgiving off and everybody went deer hunting. We had campers and tents and no running water. The best deal was that I got out of school. Oh well. Now I camp out at Motel 6!! I am not familiar with TNUSA. What does it stand for? A lot of women don't get the hunting thing and it's caused so many problems in marriages. I'm not saying it is all the womens fault because I know some men that are real jerks about it!!!!! But it is good that you understand it. I have some stories I could tell!!! As a woman hunter I get all sorts of reactions from them. Used to be they didn't care for sharing the woods with me. But that attitude seems to be coming around. Especially when the boyfriend rubs it in that I help him carry his deer and with the other stuff. I know you have heard about that. It can be work. I am a real daddy's girl. My dads own brother didn't want me to hunt with them. So my dad and I went elsewhere and have had a great life hunting together. I just love getting out in nature. I have had some really incredible things happen and the very best of memories. Have you ever thought about tagging along? I know it can be REALLY cold sometimes. I always take a camera. I also take all my calls. You never know what you will see and it is so fun to see nature react to you. (I called in my first gobblers last week. It was so cool. To see their heads turn from red to blue. Yes, I was supposed to be looking for deer. It is bow season and I don't bow hunt. I made my boyfriend stay in his stand an hour extra so I could play with the turkeys. Course I didn't tell him that was what I was doing til afterward.) See you can't get away from the stories. Best wishes to you also. I certaintly don't mind. Sounds like you have experience also. What all does your hubby hunt? : : I can't believe you like to hunt. That is so rare. I hardly ever : : share that with anyone because most people don't get it, the : : management thing much less how fun it is to be in the woods. I am : an : : only kid and dad has had me in the woods since I was 2. I shot my : : first deer 2 years ago. It was pretty intense. : : Wow, my husband is a big time hunter, and a member of TNUSA (if : you're familiar with that hunting org). Thanks for sharing this info : Lisa - as a "hunter's wife" I've gained plenty of knowledge and : practically no experience in the sport. But I can tell you know your : stuff -- anyone who knows to check the stomach definitely is no hack. : Best wishes! (and sorry for butting in if I'm annoying you guys...)
