A question about methys seeds(Fenugreek) and tamarind

I was raeding the archives and in Archive 1 someone said about(methys seeds) that
as the (henna)mixture dried,it did not seem to flake off the way
it would if you just let it dry normally,on the other hand in Archive
2 someone else said that from her reseach the seeds may make the
henna a
bit more golden and they contain a large amount of mucilage
which will make your mixture extra slimy and goopy and think
they aren't worth the trouble.
To those of you who use or have used methys seeds (or just have any
advice) in your
paste,what were the results and also what does tamarind
paste or fruit do for the henna?
