It tends to be when my allergiesare acting up and my skin is very dry in the fall. I just chalked it up to lemon juice irritating already very dry skin. Your problem is sounding more serious than that with the throbbing of your fingers and such but I have to ask is your skin dry? If you rubbed lemon juice only or rosewater only on your skin would it be more irritated/allergic? : I bought some henna that leaves a brilliant orange stain even before : it dries. It was mixed with lemon and rosewater only. This is what I : always use. (No terps this time) I did a small design on the inside : of my arm but had to remove the paste when it started itching. : Cortizone cream relieved the itching. : Thinking that I imagined it all, I did a design on my palm. Within : 10 minutes my palm was itching and my fingers were throbbing so I : washed it off. This morning the design has darkend to burnt orange. : Has anyone else ever had this happen? Could it just be me? The : fields around our house are full of ragweed right now.
