I seem to remember sometime in the last 4 years I've been on the forum
someone, somewhere, said that during a cold, their henna behaved very
strangely. I don't remember much about the post, except that I think
the henna was itchy.
Just a possiblity .... I remember that antihistimines made my
daughter's skin dry, flaky, and porous once ....
That would explain a very fast stain onset. Perhaps lemon juice was
madly irritating if it was penetrating the skin quickly.
Try a dab w/o lemon?
