: "little" classes ... demonstrations of mixing and technique, I can
: knock out in an hour ... but perhaps someone else can handle
them ...
: or perhaps that could be a group seminar. I just plain can't
lecture
: more than about 4 hours in a day or I'm too pooped to party!

I envisaged this kind of class to be more informal, like a sharing
session. Maybe we could have a representative of each method
(cones, carrot bags, carrot bags with tips, j-bottles etc.) give a
little demo and everyone can practice and ask questions. We
could also have some demos of mixing and sifting and straining
tips. Those with a specialty in a particular type of design (celtic
knotwork, indian, maori, saharan etc.) could give a little demo of
how the pattern breaks down, how they plan a design etc. Maybe
someone has an idea for a large design that they have always
wanted to do around someone's waist or covering an entire leg
(for example). We could get people to volunteer to be hennaed
and also do the hennaing.

I have quite a few people here who are sure to be willing henna
victims. I will arrange for them to attend in return for free henna.

For those of you who have attended Sirius at Brushwood, this
Sirius in NYC will be a little different due to the nature of the
venue. There won't be many trees to sit under and
contemplating the sky while lying next to a bonfire is illegal, i
think! There will be shopping, eating, dancing, exploring,
meeting, greeting, shopping, hennaing, shopping, visiting,
eating, shopping. There will be classes in addition to lots of
other activities. Suggestions are welcome at the email above.
