Angostura Bitters

I remember a while ago somebody used bitters in their henna, and got
a manic dark stain... What we couldn't figure out was if it was the
bitters or the extreme drunkenness of the person after they had
hennaed though... anybody remember anything about that? I've got a
paste batch chock full o' bitters right now, so we'll see soon enough.
