Clove maybe, or something she ate

People sometimes have reactions to clove oil, but I don't think it's
usually systemic. The "tattoo" she got may be the culprit, but if it
was just paint, again, probably not. I don't think this was your
fault, but you may want to consider not using clove in the future
with people you don't know.
