Re: terped vs unterped (orange scare)Posted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on November 11, 2001 at 16:06:05: In reply to: terped vs unterped (orange scare) posted by Lezard on November 11, 2001 at 15:09:27: : i have the experience that the terped stains on my palms faded: from dark brown to a scary orange in just 4 to 5 days. afterwhich : it stays stubbornly orange for another 2 weeks before : disintergrating completely. There is as much variation with terped stains as with unterped. I've had terped stains stay dark brown until the last flake, or at least brown till the last 3 days. Generally, if the terp is in the paste longer rather than shorter before applying to the skin, the shorter the orange phase duration. Steaming and heating both terped and unterped pastes when on the skin helps minimize the orange phase. Generally speaking, there is more orange with unterped than with terped.
